Hello! I am a doctoral student at the University of California, Riverside, in the Childhood Cognition Lab, leaded by Dr. Rebekah Richert.

I am interested in children’s social cognitive development, specifically children’s learning within and about the social world. Additionally, I am also interested in understanding how culturally specific values, practices, as well as different aspects of attachment (e.g., autonomy support and parental responsiveness) shape how children interact with and learn from others and the social world.

I grew up in Qingdao, China, and attended high school outside of Boston, MA in 2016. I was formerly a graduate of Dr. Maureen Callanan's CallaLab at UC Santa Cruz. Upon graduation, I started working in Bekah's Childhood Cognition Lab at UC Riverside in September, 2022, and re-joined the lab as a doctoral student in September, 2024.
